Genesi x Artist Hyemin Park Collaboration
We collaborated with artist Hyemin Park to create limited edition postcards for this collection. Hand drawings based on our bags were completed by Hyemin Park, and subsequently divided into pieces to be randomly redrawn by the Genesi founders to be recreated into artistic interpretations of the original drawings.
Artist bio:
Artist Hyemin Park's artworks depict events of the everyday encounters, and inside stories behind the memories and relationships of people living in a metropolis city. Through observations of everyday phenomena and their existing systems, the social differences perceived are conveyed via visual channels. Through the use of fictional representation of everyday spaces and performance-based artworks that blurs the distinction between fact and reality, her works engage participation and interaction from her audience.
